Sap hana memory usage
The following memory usage chart is a visual explanation of sap hana memory occupation. The chart shows several parts. Starting from the top: 1/ the Linux os. 2/ the available memory. 3/ the free memory. 4/ the used memory. The First one is the operating system area, The Second one is the potential available physical memory. It is either physically available but it is not used because of sap allocation limit restriction, or on the other hand, there is no memory but it is possible to add new memory bars to increase the memory. The third part is the free memory area which you need to follow if you have a plan to add more data than usual. The Fourth one is the used memory which contains activities and data. This is core of sap hana where everything is happening.
